Pastor Randy MacVicar accepted Jesus as his
Lord and Savior when he was 14 years old. Sometime around the age of 16, he began to
backslide and experiment with drugs however, in 1982
when Randy was 24 years old, he re-dedicated his life to the Lord and received the Baptism
of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues. After the
re-dedication of his life to the Lord, Randy applied and was accepted at Rhema Bible
Training Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Also while at Rhema, Randy met Patti Doyle
whom he married shortly after they both graduated.
After graduating from Rhema in 1985 Randy accepted a pastoral position at a church in Michigan for six years.
Then the Lord called him and his family to
move to Southern California and begin a new work: "Word of Life Christian
Church" which was established June 2, 1991 in Burbank, California. Currently, Word of Life Christian Church is
leasing facilities and meets at the Burbank Seventh Day Adventist Church at 700 South
Glenoaks Blvd. In Burbank, California.
